Seedy Saturday Regina

March Seedy Saturdays are locally organized by members of Seeds of Diversity across Canada, featuring seed saving and seed exchanges, as well as local vendors with sustainably produced goods. This is an opportunity for seed growers and savers to sell and trade seeds.

The goal of this event is to raise awareness about seed sovereignty and food security, while building community. Children are welcome and included in this day, usually with a special table or program for them.   Click here to go to Seedy Saturday Regina Facebook

RHS is one of the over 40 vendors and exhibitors. RHS members bring saved seeds from their gardens to share with the public free of charge. Volunteers are always welcome and needed to set up, take down and to attend the booth. Many attendees come to our booth to ask us questions about the seeds, gardening and the RHS. We sell memberships at this time as well.

Annual Plant Sale

May – RHS yearly plant sale fundraiser is held at the Victoria Square Mall. Our members and sponsors donate plants which we sell to the public. Donations include, seedlings, seeds, bulbs, perennials, and houseplants. Lots of opportunity to volunteer and donate plants.

We have a “drop and swap” table where members bring items such as plants, tools and books to give away or trade. And of course there are door prizes.

Walk, Talk, & Gawk Garden Tour
