The UofS supports year round free education primarily through public workshop series of live webinars and on-demand classes. They offer a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gardening.usask.ca\/certificates--degrees\/master-gardener.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Master Gardener certification<\/a>&nbsp;program.The University of Saskatchewan is an important support for the Saskatchewan Horticulture Society provincially and for our Regina Horticulture Society, giving us access to speakers and valuable knowledge.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Local Horticulture Groups and Resources<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Saskatchewan Horticulture Association<\/strong> the RHS is a member of the association. There are 19 member horticultural and garden society groups. The objective of the SHA is to promote the interests of horticulture generally, and Horticultural Societies in Saskatchewan. <a href=\"https:\/\/skhorticultural.com\/index.html\">https:\/\/skhorticultural.com\/index.html<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The Regina Floral Conservatory <\/strong>is Regina\u2019s premier indoor garden space, operated by volunteers with the Regina Garden Associates, a non-profit charitable organization, in partnership with the City of Regina. Open daily from September to June, visitors can experience the therapeutic effects of lush greenery, colourful flowers, and the scents of the tranquil garden seven days a week. <a href=\"https:\/\/reginafloralconservatory.ca\/\">https:\/\/reginafloralconservatory.ca\/<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nature Regina<\/strong>, a volunteer-driven charitable organization, has been fostering a greater interest in and understanding and enjoyment of all aspects of the natural environment, as well as the protection and conservation of natural systems. We offer presentations, field trips, education programs and environmental advocacy to instill a greater appreciation of nature. Everyone is welcome to attend our events.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><em>Ashley Esakin<\/em><\/strong> Hailing from Saskatoon, Ashley has had a passion for plants since she was a small child. She followed this love of greenery to the University of Saskatoon, where she earned a science degree, with a major in soil science.
