Peregrine Landscape Construction<\/strong> is a local company that sees landscaping as an art form.  They design and install landscapes of all sizes, \u201cdriven by a love for creating beautiful and functional landscapes\u201d.  One of their specialties is the use of water in a landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have seen the challenges of climate change:  higher summer temperatures and frequent water shortages; and have realized the need to adopt efficient practices.  This evening, Peregrine will share with us their expertise in the catchment and usage of rainwater for landscapes giving us ideas for our own gardens, whether large or small.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gardening at USask<\/a> is a free public resource that includes a comprehensive website, a very active Facebook Page<\/a>, a YouTube channel<\/a>, selected free classes year-roung, public speaking engagements, and a Gardenline support<\/a> person to personally help you during the growing season. The UofS supports year round free education primarily through public workshop series of live webinars and on-demand classes. They offer a Master Gardener certification<\/a> program.The University of Saskatchewan is an important support for the Saskatchewan Horticulture Society provincially and for our Regina Horticulture Society, giving us access to speakers and valuable knowledge.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
