An Evening at the Greenhouse Series<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An Evening at Sherwood Greenhouse Garden Centre Tuesday, May 5 at 7:00 p.m<\/strong>. Talk will feature transplanting seedling into pots or the garden. 17350 Range Rd 2190, Regina (East of the city, just north of Vic Ave\/Highway 1). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 An Evening at Plant Ranch Thursday, May 7 at 7:00 p.m.<\/strong> Talk will feature planting for balconies and containers. 5909 13th Ave, Regina (We are located WEST of Lewvan & 13th Avenue, past the baseball fields and BMX bike track).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RHS members and the public will have the opportunity to hear from these experts, ask questions, tour the greenhouses, enjoy light refreshments, and have an opportunity to do some shopping. We will be giving away two hanging baskets as door prizes each evening. The Greenhouses will be opening for the Regina Horticulture Society May 5 and 7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost is free for members and $5 for non members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pre registration is not required. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These events will be mainly outside<\/strong>, and will involve standing<\/strong> and walking<\/strong>. Seating will not be provided.  Start time for these events will be 7.00 p.m. Be sure to dress for the weather. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gardening at USask<\/a> is a free public resource that includes a comprehensive website, a very active Facebook Page<\/a>, a YouTube channel<\/a>, selected free classes year-roung, public speaking engagements, and a Gardenline support<\/a> person to personally help you during the growing season. The UofS supports year round free education primarily through public workshop series of live webinars and on-demand classes. They offer a Master Gardener certification<\/a> program.The University of Saskatchewan is an important support for the Saskatchewan Horticulture Society provincially and for our Regina Horticulture Society, giving us access to speakers and valuable knowledge.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
